4 Days until OOPSLA

There's only four days left until I head off for OOPSLA 2007 in Montreal.

Here's a list of the things which I'm most excited about attending:

• Context, Perspective and Programs
• Best Practices for Model-Driven Development
• Writing Adaptable Software: Mechanisms for Implementing Variabilities in Code and Models
• WebRB: Evaluating a Visual Domain-Specific Language For Building Relational Web-Applications
• StreamFlex - High-throughput Stream Programming in Java
• Can Programming be Liberated from the Two-Level Style? -- Multi-Level Programming with DeepJava
• Dynamic Languages Symposium
• Montreal Scheme/Lisp User Group Meeting: HOP and ContextL

The last item isn't actually part of OOPSLA, but the MSLUG people were nice enough to reschedule their monthly meeting to coincide with OOPSLA.

The biggest problem with this OOPSLA is that there's just so many great things going on at the same time so that no matter what you attend, there's almost always something else which you would also like to attend but have to miss. They need to videotape everything and then replay the whole day time-shifted in the evening (or sell videos).
